I stayed here for 4 weeks and it was an altogether amazing experience. The place is close to Dr. Mo's academy, just a 12 minute walk. A few halal restaurants, mosque and shops are at a walking distance as well. The atmosphere in the lodge is what I liked best though, as you will find other doctors going through same experiences and that helps a lot. Breakfast is provided in a common dining area and offers a great opportunity to chat with other doctors and make study plans for the day. Tatiana is always there to help you in any way she can, offering advice and support. All the staff is really nice. I would recommend this place to every doctor looking for a place to stay near Dr. Mo's academy.
Good accommodation and each room comes with an attached washroom. Free breakfast in the dining hall with a sizeable kitchen. However, the rent is on the higher side especially for someone who will come to prepare for plab 2 at Dr. Mo Sobhy Academy. Walking distance to the academy and takes around 5 min.
I understand the intent for a cheap affordable hotel but when I arrived my room wasn’t that clean. There was a significant amount of dust and the windows were all open so there were flies and spiders inside. Also mould on windows, marks in carpet and some leakage on ceiling. Can’t really comment on staff because I didn’t see any staff members during my stay.
A very lovely place where you can feel at home, make new friends and find study partners for PLAB 2 practice. It is not far from Dr. MO 's academy ( 1.2 km ), they serve superb breakfast daily for no extra charge and there is a fully functional kitchen/laundry service so you barely ever need to go out to eat or do laundry. The place is not far from 3 big markets: Lidl , Asda ( next to the academy ) and village market ( halal foods ). The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the place is spotless clean with daily upkeep to maintain a high standard of care. This ia truly home away from home.
