Just bought a second hand car from here and I was really happy with their friendly and helpful service. Andy called to arrange with me, put a fresh MOT on the car, and made sure everything was ready for when I got there even though I gave him short notice. The price was fair and they were very considerate. I will be recommending to anyone looking for a car. It's worth the drive over. Very happy, thank you again!

I bought a 10-year old car and two months later the clutch went. It took 2-3 days to fit a new clutch and deliver it back to me. No charge, done under warranty without any complaint. The car is still going fine 2 years later...

Brought a mate here to look at a car. Spoke to Andy. Great fella down to earth and genuine. The car he bought is clean tidy and runs great. We could only pick the car up on the sunday due to work. He opened up for us. Great service good cars at good prices. Thanks Andy.

This dealership reinforced the stigma about second hand car dealerships and how untrustworthy and sly they can be. Although he appeared very nice and amicable, which in turn made me feel guilty for bringing up problems, I was never shown any care or thought when I had a problem. Initially I was very happy and bought my car thinking I had a good deal, he knocked £95 off and said I still had three months warranty (and although advertised with 12 month MOT it was only 9 months and it was stated that that was why he let me have £95 off). Within three days I noticed a strange gravel sound, took it back and he couldn't hear anything wrong with it. Took it back again, the same. And then I drove home from work, I had to stop halfway because it kept stalling to the point where it was undriveable. Throughout the process I was told nothing was wrong with my car and if it could drive on the road it wasn't covered by warranty. When he said it cost £180 to fix and I could go halves I was shocked and asked for my money back. This was then I got really upset, he said it was my fault, I caused the wear on the clutch plate and I couldn't return it as it wasn't the state in which it was bought. This was all within 7 days of purchase. He eventually saw it was the thrust bearing (when he saw me with a male colleague and I described again how badly it drove he then went and got a 'second opinion') and had the clutch plate replaced, but I felt entirely exhausted by the whole situation and I felt as though I were being unreasonable even though I spent £1000 on a 13 year old car. Then the battery light had a problem, I felt embarrassed to go back after how I was treated but it completely stopped working in morning rush traffic. I called him and after me trying to describe who I was (he sounded as though he couldn't remember, even though he must for the trouble we had) he eventually remembered. He said if it's the fan belt it isn't covered by warranty. I am very upset and completely scarred for buying another car in future. I would never come back to this dealership and I will have to make sure I take a man who knows about cars with me next time. I feel as though I was taken advantage of as it is my first car and I am a young female driver.
