Long weekend in Liverpool for my daughters hen do, and 1 of our nights out was at Mansion for the dream boys. The club is lovely and the show was great fun. What was totally shocking was being charged £65 for a bottle of supermarkets quality wine and prosecco., and we're used to London prices. Needless to say we didn't buy a second round. After paying for the tickets, I felt it was a total rip off.
Tunes are okay sometimes, drinks are EXPENSIVE, staff are plain nasty. WAY smaller than it looks on the photos. Genuinely try anywhere else. Brilliant photographer though.
If I could give a zero stars for the rudness of the staff I would . Spent a fortune in this bar for one of my friends hen do’s 23 of us Geordies so as you can imagine a lot of money spent . Left dream boys to then come back later to be looked down on and made to feel out of place because we were a hen do asked to take all hen do stuff off as they don’t like it in that bar but did only two hours earlier when taking our money . Guy on door said it’s classed as two seperate venues it’s exactly same venue just turns into a nightclub if u don’t want to be associated with hens then don’t promote dream boys in your club ! Asked to pay £10 each to get back in but gets worse some gaffer with a trench coat on who thought he was better then everyone else “even though he looked like he should be a weather man “asked us to move off a table because apparently someone had paid £1000 to sit there and they would be annoyed that a group of hens were in the seat . No reserved sign on there so how are you meant to know any decent club in Newcastle would have signs or at least say reserved from such and such time ? 40 mins later this reserved space still hasn’t been took he just didn’t want a group of 23 hens to make his club look Out of place as we later found out few celebrities were arriving . It’s a shame as love Liverpool and always loved coming here but I would just avoid this club hands down because of the rudeness of staff . Beautiful inside but prices and did I mention door staff just not worth it .
Took my daughter for £700 after letting them in the door and taking payment then to say your not old enough even though she’d showed ID (drivers licence) her 18th birthday weekend as well. No refund allowed because they’d entered the venue. Swerve this one with a passion kids, it’s a chancy overpriced club that pulls your pants down and wrecks yours and your mates night. ????
Dear Mansion Staff, I hope you will get back to us regarding the terrible experience we had early October. Our deposit and an additional amount were debited from our credit card for something we did not ordrer, as we were not even in the club on that evening. I am sure that it is not a policy to debit 700GBP from potential clients! Can we please get the refund asap?
