So, went to go in but bouncer said we weren't allowed in as we were wearing trainers. I said "fair enough" as lots of places have strict dress codes and started walking away. However then I saw a group of 5 guys walking out of the entrance, all wearing trainers (they were wearing dark tops and jeans with sporty white and grey trainers). I said to the bouncer "what about all those guys that just walked out wearing trainers?" He said "it's policy that women wear dresses etc". My friend and I were both wearing black trainers and Ralph Lauren dresses. So, I said "we are wearing dresses?" He said "you have to wear heels". I explained that I have a slipped disc and trochanteric bursitis so I physically can not wear heels. He said "it's policy that women must wear heels". I said "why did you say there is a no trainer policy, but are fine with letting in guys wearing casual clothes and trainers?" So this no trainer policy only applys to women. Then as we were walking away another guy said "are you looking to go to a club" and I said "yeah" he said "ahh I'll take you to one if I walk you in its £10 rather than the normal price". So, he started walking us back to the place that we had just been told we couldn't go in ???? I just laughed because surely he should have noticed the trainers on our feet. So, I said "oh we were told we weren't allowed in" and the bouncer then said "they can't come in due to their trainers" and apologized to the guy. If this is a policy surely everyone who works there should know about it? I think if a company has a policy it should apply equally to everyone. Just make sure everyone wears smart shoes? So, unless you want to deal with sexist bouncers who don't enforce the dress code equally on men and women. And give your money to a sexist organisation, with views from 46 years ago, before the sex discrimination act of 1975, avoid this place.

The barmaid insisted that we owed £10 from our £200 bar tab. She actually said “ it’s on your heads if I get the sack” we then spoke to Alex from California who also worked behind the bar who clarified that we actually had £30 left to spend from the tab. He was a really good bar tender, very professional as we had engaged with him throughout the eve when ordering our food and drinks. . There was a lack of communication generally amongst the staff and definitely not a place I’d return to or recommend. .

Was excited to visit here but the ball pit was extremely dirty - not surprising given the fact it’s in the toilets. Staff were incredibly rude
